Alistair was born to Harold and Maude Kerr a pair of environmental research scientists stationed on an outpost on Damar. He joined the UEEN as soon as he could enlist. His first assignment was on Providence station as a small cargo/personnel MPUV pilot moving supplies and navy personnel to and from their ships. After six years of flying butts and boxes on Orison, he decided to separate and strike out on his own. He built a small mining operation AKM (Alistair Kerr Mining) which kept his head above water. Four failed marriages later and piling debt from operation forced Alistair to hire on with ISI to set up and run the mining/freight division in 2951.
