Bruce 'BBrus' Broonsi was born in Gen on 2923.
His father, Roman Broonsi, was a Flight Lieutenant who joined Sqn. 42 on late 2909, shortly before his baptism of fire fighting the Vanduul alongside Lt. Nolan, where he scored eight kills despite receiving damage early during the battle. His mother, Claudia Broonsi (née Gärcès), was also part of the UEE Navy. Assigned to the Field Engineering Division, Maj. Broonsi lead a Research & Development group focused on neutron field defensive systems.
Shortly after Bruce was born, both his parents left the military and relocated to Terra, where they opened a flourishing family business in the small town of Canaar.
BBrus moved to Prime to persue his studies on exoatmospheric navigation and piloting where he graduated with honors, ranking 2nd in his class.
