Father was a fighter pilot, mother was an exploratory scientist. Both were killed within a day of each other, leaving Maximus an orphan. After bouncing around various homes and schools Maximus found a place to settle down and continue his education, he then joined the military and was injured in basic training. He chose to stay in and work in a job of ship logistics since front line combat was off the table. After being honorably discharged, he went into business for himself.
