As a boy I grew up on a colony that was close to Earth but not so close as to be considered in the core worlds. My childhood was somewhat unremarkable, I was loved and I was determined to make it to the stars and see the galaxy.
And now, I've made it.
Granted I've been stuck in Port Olisar for Messer knows how long and I was barely able to scrape enough credits together to buy myself a decent ship. But here I am. And as soon as this blasted quarantine lifts I'll be out of here. Mark my words I'm going to see the galaxy. Every inch of it.
I've got friends out there you know. Friends that made it to the edge of human space and are seeing wonders no human being could comprehend. Someday I'll make it out to them. You wait and see.
