It was the year 2014, a manned deep space probe Ranger 4 was launched. 3 weeks into the planned 6-month trip around the solar system, a freak mishap occurs.
The craft runs into a meteor storm, disrupting life support, freezes Captain William "Buck" Rogers, callsign: Regnar and blowing Ranger 4 off trajectory and into a long elliptical orbit of Earth. It was believed the craft and pilot was lost.
900 years later, in the year 2944 Ranger 4 again approaches the Earth and is intercepted by the alien Kr'Thak diplomatic flagship. Regnar is revived by the Kr'Thak, placed back in his craft, and allowed to continue his mission back to earth.
Now a man from a lost forgotten past, survives as a soldier of fortune. At times the UEE High Command and High Advocate call upon him for his unique skillset to do impossible missions. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find him, maybe you can hire him…
