Previously an emergency medic and evac pilot, Rem spent much of his young life savings lives at great risk to his own. He retired younger than most, and what he does now, via his previous connections, is best described as "morally questionable". Used to flying in risky and dangerous situations, his new career doesn't phase him, and the pay is a hell of a lot better.
