LtCdr Jake "Paladin" Targus is a recently retired UEE Navy fighter pilot. He was a flight leader of combat-ready Gladius fighters in the 42nd Fighter Squadron.
Jake received his commission in 2935 as a distinguished graduate through the officer candidate program. He attended pilot training, where he earned the STC Commander's Award as well as the Flight Training Award. Jake is a combat pilot with more than 3,000 flying hours, including more than 500 combat hours earned during combat operations. Jake was a senior instructor pilot, Flight Examiner, and Weapons Officer. Prior to separation, Jake was the Vice Commander, 42nd Squadron. Jake is the President, Chairman and CEO of his own company, Paladin Government Services, while continuing to serve the UEE in the Navy Reserves. Paladin Government Services has been awarded contracts with the UEE government and military, as well as private commercial entities.
