Raphael Valentine joined the UEE Navy at the age of 18 and became a prominent pilot favoring the Anvil Arrow and took the Callsign "Cupid". Valentine had a prestigious career with the UEE although not without complications, his slightly rebellious nature got him on the wrong side of authority on more than one occasion, which eventually lead to his dismissal from service for disobeying orders. So Valentine went out into the verse seeking his place among the stars.
