Our Founding: Sunday, September 28, 2014

Originally founded on a Sunday night stream, ARSI was born out of the need to clean up the mess the Vanduul, and pirateers have made throughout the verse. We knew the war with the Vanduul would lend to a profitable venture salvaging destroyed ships, and their technology. With that in mind, our first Reclaimer was acquired. Since then, we’ve grown our fleet to include a Banu Merchantman for the purpose of acting as a base of operations and negotiating the sale of salvaged materials, including weapons, shields, power supplies, and any other salvaged equipment we may find in good working order. Of course this will obviously be limited to what capabilities the Merchantman eventually has.

Nearly 8 Years Later – Cargo & Trading

We’ve been flying the PU for some time, we took some breaks and of course members came and went, one thing we learned over those years was as It turns out, finding derelict vessels was not as simple as we first thought, and with careful consideration the decision was made to expand our operations to form a Cargo and Trade Division. We started small, with a Drake Cutlass Black, but later acquired a MISC Hull D which we quickly melted for later use to preserve the lowest possible costs. Our current main cargo hauler is an RSI Constellation Taurus with a Drake Mule to help with off an on loading of cargo.

ARSI is now accepting applications for the Director of Cargo and Trade. This role will require the candidate to be able to both hire and manage their own teams, and work well with other Directors, and our Founder.

Exploration & Discovery

To further our expansion, ARSI has moved on to all aspects of servicing the citizens of the verse. With the creation of an exploration and discovery division of ARSI. At first we acquired an Anvil Carrack, but later, a MISC Odyssey was acquired (CCU’d) in order to explore the ever expanding verse as new systems are discovered. It turns out that war has reached many systems, and the means to travel to them was required.

ARSI is now accepting applications for the Director of Exploration and Discovery. This role will require the candidate to be able to both hire and manage their own teams, and work well with other Directors, and our Founder.

Medicine & Rescue

During our travels in the verse more and more we were hearing calls for medical rescue and as an organization dedicated to providing services to the citizens of the verse, this call could not go unanswered. As such, we’ve expanded our reach once more to include a Medicine and Rescue division. At this time, our Founder has melted his Drake Cutlass Red, but as it’s available at any time now, re-acquiring it will not be difficult.

ARSI is now accepting applications for the Director of Medicine and Rescue. This role will require the candidate to be able to both hire and manage their own teams, and work well with other Directors, and our Founder.

Mining & Resources

As we await more salvage game play, the decision was made to enter into the resource materials market. We first began slow, acquiring a Greycat Ind. ROC for some planetary mining. It did not take long before we realized a ROC was just not sufficient. The decision was made to acquire an Argo MOLE. Also, in the Founders buy backs, an original RSI Orion should the need to expand further.

Repair & Refueling

Of course we could not operate as a complete, full service, salvage operation without having the ability help service the citizens of the verse without providing a repair and refueling station. With that in mind the decision to create a Repair and Refueling Division was made. Currently in the Founders buy back is the Anvil Crucible, as well as not one, but two Starfarers and a Starfarer Gemini.

Salvage & Reclamation

Of course we’ve not forgot about our humble start, and sitting in our hangar is still our Aegis Reclaimer, we’ll be needing a new crew of interested citizens for her.

ARSI is now accepting applications for the Director of Salvage and Reclamation. This role will require the candidate to be able to both hire and manage their own teams, and work well with other Directors, and our Founder.

Security and Defence

As our organization becomes more diverse, it became clear, with the increase in ‘pirateers’ and griefers, a security team is most certainly going to be required. Our founder made the decision to acquire a Banu Defender to lend a hand in this department as needed. That said, whole teams may be required to protect our, and perhaps other, fleets investments.
