Formed over six years ago in 2949, BOSS Inc. has been rebranded as the premier Private Military Corporation (PMC) for the discerning Citizen or Organization. They choose us because we maintain a significant ratio of veterans of various branches of military service and are committed to our client’s success.
We are ready to capitalize on the amazing growth of Star Citizen and with the first gameplay footage of Squadron 42 released to acclaim from the fan-base, the time is now to begin building an organization to take part in fleet-scale battles like those depicted in the Battle of Vega.
Come be a part of the future of Star Citizen in 2955 and beyond. Come, be a BOSS!
Have you watched some of the more cinematic moments of Star Citizen and Squadron 42 and and wanted to do just that in Star Citizen? Us too! Our focus is to bring those moments to life with an adult-oriented, no obligation, with a military theme and structure. This is our primary objective and growth will be focused towards this goal.
Secondarily, we are building a community of like-minded Star Citizen players that can forge the bonds of brotherhood in the fires of war. A group of people of all skill levels and inclinations to provide them with an unbeatable opportunity to engage in the most unique Star Citizen experience possible. Plenty of opportunities to go around here, whether you want to lurk or take an active leadership role. Come be a BOSS!
1. Organization Principles Excellence through Humility: Our core focus is on tactical and strategic fleet-scale PvP operations. Every engagement, whether a major battle or a small skirmish, is treated with careful planning and coordination. But we are human and lack perfection. If you see a better way to challenge our enemies, please speak up via your chain of command! Adaptability: BOSS members engage in all aspects of the game, from bounty hunting and missions to mining, salvage, and racing. While our primary focus is PvP, we are always ready to adapt to new opportunities across the verse. Respect for your life commitments: While attendance to operations is not mandatory, we expect members who sign up for missions and operations to follow through and show up. Lack of attendance is only marked against members who do not show up after signing up. Core Values: Teamwork, communication, and respect for each other’s playstyles. No matter your approach, there’s something for you in BOSS Inc. The organization thrives on collaboration and mutual support, whether you are an ace pilot, special operations, combat tactician, a resource gatherer, or you just like moving boxes.
2. Membership Guidelines
Minimum Age Requirement: 21 years or older. We maintain a mature atmosphere for tactical decision-making and respectful communication. Timezone: Primarily focused on US timezones. We are a flexible group, but we work together most effectively within this window. We may focus on expanding operating times after growth. Commitment: While we’re a curious mix of laid-back and hard-core, members should understand that our core activities are centered around fleet operations and PvP. If you choose to participate in an operation, we expect you to be fully committed to the mission at hand. Activity Range: Open to both hardcore and casual players. No matter your preferred playstyle, there will be a place in BOSS Inc for you.3. Structure & Leadership Leadership Team: The the overall course of the oganization will be directed by the Strategic Directive. This leadership team will consist of an add-numbered core group of founders responsible for the overall direction of the organization. Role-Based Specialization: Members can choose roles that align with their playstyle and likely have leadership or management roles available to them if they so choose. These roles primarily focus on team leadership. Each member has the opportunity to be involved in a leadership capacity within their chosen role in the organization. Leadership Election: Leadership roles are reviewed periodically, and members have the opportunity to provide feedback. We will implement a democratic approach to leadership promotions based on merit, contributions, and leadership skills.
4. Operations & Events PvP Operations: The primary focus of the organization will be on large-scale PvP engagements that are simply unobtainable without a large player-based organization. We may involve ourselves in PvP Piracy. Focused on interacting with fellow players in-universe to liberate them of their possessions which may cause an undue burden of ownership. We prioritize role-playing based encounters rather than the stereotypical ganking so prevalent in the ‘verse. PvE Operations: Even if PvE is your desired method of playing Star Citizen, there will be a place for you such as Bounty Hunting, Missions, Mining, Salvage, Racing, and Exploration. Event Scheduling: Operations and events will be scheduled ahead of time but are voluntary. Members can opt-in or opt-out based on availability.
5. Communication & Coordination Voice Communication: All members will be required to use voice communication via Discord during operations for effective coordination. Mission Briefings: Prior to every operation, there will be a mission briefing outlining the goals, tactics, and roles. This ensures everyone is on the same page, whether they’re participating in a high-stakes battle or a resource gathering run. After-Action Reports: After major operations, members will be encouraged to participate in debriefs to analyze what went well, what could be improved, and share insights. This is a space for learning and improving.
6. Rules of Engagement Tactical First: We always prioritize strategy over brute force. Members are expected to think critically during operations, follow orders, and contribute to overall mission success. Respect for Fellow Players: Whether in combat or casual interactions, respect is paramount. We’re all adults and are expected to behave as such. Light trash talk, adult jokes, etc can be expected but if it gets out of line, please dial it back. Everyone has their own threshold and are expected to speak up if that is exceeded. Friendly Competition: We support a competitive atmosphere, but at the end of the day, BOSS players are allies first. Healthy rivalry is encouraged, especially in racing or training simulations, but always with mutual respect.
7. Member Expectations Participation: While no mandatory attendance is required, members that sign up for an organization operation are expected to participate. This ensures that our core PvP focus remains intact and that members have agency in their own involvement in the organization. Communication: Members should stay active on Discord for announcements, mission planning, and general organization chat. Respect for Roles: Even if a member is more casual in their participation, they should expect an assignment that matches their preferred playstyle whenever possible. The situation may arise where they are assigned a task outside of their normal area of expertise. In these situations, please rely on guidenace from your team lead.
8. Code of Conduct Mature Conduct: While we’re all adults, members are expected to uphold a modicum of maturity, professionalism, and sportsmanship in all interactions with players outside of BOSS Inc. to limit potential undesirable diplomatic outcomes. Teamwork Over Ego: Personal egos and individual glory will take a backseat to team success. We win and lose together. Feedback & Growth: Constructive feedback is encouraged. If any member feels that they are struggling with certain aspects of the game or operations, they should feel comfortable reaching out for guidance and support.
9. Member Benefits Leadership Opportunities: Those who show leadership potential will have the opportunity to take on more significant roles in fleet operations, events, and overall organization management. Training and Mentorship: New players or those wanting to improve their skills in PvP, mining, racing, or other areas will have access to training, mentorship, and resources. Community Events: Regular community events that are currently the only way to experience a significant portion of Star Citizen gameplay This will allow for both fun and competitive play, whether PvP skirmishes or non-combat activities like racing or exploration. Recognition: Star Citizen history will be filled with tales of valor and the spectacular. BOSS Inc. wants to give its members the opportunity to be involved with conflicts that will go down in the annals of the games history.
