Welcome to the Cinder Legion new recruit.
History
Founded near the end of 2953, the group originally known as Stanton Legends emerged from the ashes of failing rigid organizations. Forged in the shadows of Stanton by a quiet but rebellious leader now known only as Odyssey. After growing tired of the stifling rules and corporate-style hierarchies that dominated other factions he tried working for in the past after failing to mesh with any military or mercenary groups, Odyssey envisioned a pirate crew that valued freedom and respect without sacrificing individuality and free speech of each member as long as they show respect. Stanton Legends operated under a unique code, targeting only formidable opponents with rewards worthy of a challenge, while leaving lone civilians and defenseless ships untouched. And even sometimes secretly protecting them from the shadows if they seem deserving. Eventually reformed after a year of building it’s ranks, completely taking over Jumptown shipping lanes and using the profits to build a quite formidable fleet and taking on all that Stanton had to offer the group voted to rename to a more reflective name CINDER LEGION in the fall of 2954. The group then went under a fiery metamorphosis and now charges forward into the future of what they call “Ethical” Piracy.
With a laid-back atmosphere that prizes individuality and skill, Cinder Legion has become a sanctuary for those who seek the thrill of piracy without the weight of oppressive leadership. In the black of space, they burn bright. Where there is fire, there is Cinder.
Cinder now operates as a Pirate Organization unaffiliated with any star system or faction. They answer the call to any mission with formidable targets or help protect less well rounded fleets from hostile forces for credits, as well as emergency medivac services. Every member is free to voice their concerns and partake in any operation without a clearly defined role. The leaders of Cinder Legion accept that they do not know everything and should always be open to suggestions from crew, as long as clear respect for our pirate code is shown.

We are the Cinder Legion, a pirate crew forged in the shadows of Stanton, rising from the embers of rigid, soulless organizations that choke the spirit of the stars. Founded near the end of 2953 by our enigmatic leader, Odyssey, we began as Stanton Legends—a band of rebels who rejected the corporate shackles and military monotony of the Verse. Tired of hierarchies that silenced voices and crushed individuality, Odyssey lit the spark of a new way: a crew where freedom reigns, respect binds us, and every soul burns bright. In the fall of 2954, we shed our old name and embraced our true identity—Cinder Legion—a testament to our fiery metamorphosis and unyielding resolve.
