Article I – Purpose & Vision

The Galactic Federation of Cohesive Stars (GFCS) is a united force of traders, warriors, and pioneers dedicated to order, prosperity, and mutual strength in the vast expanse of the galaxy. We stand against lawlessness and piracy, fostering a community built on trade, security, and exploration.

We are more than an organization—we are a Federation that shapes the future.

Article II – Leadership & Structure

To maintain stability and efficiency, the Federation operates under a structured leadership model:

[a] Leadership Hierarchy

CEO – The ultimate authority and leader of the Federation, guiding its vision and strategic direction.
Executives – The CEO’s right hand, responsible for administration, policy enforcement, and high-level decision-making. They have full administrative control over Federation operations, including Discord management.
Human Resources – Oversees moderation, recruitment, and member welfare. They manage reports, handle queries, and ensure the Federation operates smoothly.
Marketing Team – Dedicated to branding, promotion, and recruitment efforts. They create media, graphics, and banners to strengthen the Federation’s public presence.

[b] Member Progression Ranks

All members of the Federation start at the Junior rank and can advance through dedication, experience, and contribution.

Junior – Entry-level rank for new recruits.
Middle – An upgraded rank for members who have shown commitment and reliability.
Senior – Respected members who have been with the Federation for a long time and understand its workings. They may be considered for Specialist Ranks.

Members who demonstrate leadership skills and dedication may be promoted to the following specialist ranks:

Manager – Assists in event planning, coordination, and community engagement. Holds limited moderation permissions.
Director – A senior role with additional responsibilities, including moderation and strategic event planning.
Board Member – The highest-ranking specialists, overseeing Managers and Directors while assisting in organizational duties as needed. They are the backbone of the Federation’s operational leadership.

Article III – Code of Conduct

As a united Federation, all members must adhere to a strict code of ethics and behaviour to maintain order and respect within the organization.

Loyalty & Unity – Members support one another. Internal conflicts should be handled professionally and resolved through proper channels.
Respect & Integrity – Toxicity, discrimination, or harassment will not be tolerated.
Duty & Readiness – Members should participate in Federation activities and contribute to its growth.
Anti-Piracy Stance – Engaging in piracy or unethical behaviour against allies or neutral parties may result in a penalty or in serious instances, expulsion.
Chain of Command – Members should respect the hierarchy and leadership structure.

Article IV – Operations & Activities

The Federation is actively engaged in various endeavours to secure its influence and prosperity:

Trade & Economy – Establishing profitable trade routes and securing economic dominance.
Escort & Security – Protecting trade convoys and allied fleets from threats.

Article V – Membership & Advancement

[a] Joining the Federation

Any individual who aligns with the Federation’s values may apply for membership.
New recruits begin as Juniors and may progress based on merit and experience.
Promotions are determined by leadership based on activity, conduct, and contribution.

[b] Advancement to Specialist Ranks

Senior members demonstrating leadership qualities may be considered for Manager positions.
Managers with proven skills may be promoted to Directors for greater responsibility.
Directors who show exceptional dedication may be appointed as Board Members.

Article VI – Diplomacy & Alliances

The Federation actively seeks beneficial relationships with other organizations. We maintain:

Alliances – Formal partnerships with like-minded groups for mutual protection and trade.
Non-Aggression Pacts – Agreements to prevent unnecessary conflict.
Hostile Designations – Entities engaging in piracy or threats to Federation interests will be treated as enemies.

Article VII – Affiliates

The Galactic Federation of Cohesive Stars recognizes the value of external partnerships and affiliations. Individuals or groups who wish to collaborate with the Federation without full membership may apply for Affiliate status.

[a] Affiliate Status & Limitations

Affiliates are not strictly bound by Article III (Code of Conduct) but are expected to act in good faith when engaging with the Federation.
Affiliates may not progress beyond the rank of Middle within the organization.
Affiliates do not have voting rights or decision-making authority in Federation affairs.
Affiliates may participate in Federation operations, events, and trade agreements but may not represent the Federation in diplomatic or military engagements unless approved by leadership or managerial personal.

[b] Affiliate Approval & Revocation

Affiliates must be approved by Federation leadership.
The Federation reserves the right to revoke Affiliate status if an individual or group acts in opposition to its values or interests.
This framework ensures that Affiliates can engage with the Federation while maintaining the integrity of our structure and chain of command.

Article VIII – Amendments & Governance

This Charter may be amended by the CEO and Executives as needed to ensure the Federation’s continued success.
Major decisions, including alliances and structural changes, require leadership approval.
The Federation evolves, but its foundation of strength, unity, and ambition remains steadfast.

Article IX – Enemies of the Federation

The Federation stands firm in protecting its interests, values, and the prosperity of its members. While diplomacy is always preferred, there are those who stand in opposition to our ideals—whether through direct conflict, ideological opposition, or interference with our operations.

[a] Definition of Enemies:

• Any individual, group, or organization that actively opposes the Federation’s interests.
• Entities that seek to undermine, obstruct, or act aggressively against our members.
• Organizations or factions that take a hostile stance against piracy, privateering, or other activities in which our members may engage.

[b] Conduct Towards Enemies:

• Members are expected to remain vigilant and report any hostile actions or intelligence regarding enemy factions.
• While conflict is not always the first course of action, members are encouraged to defend the Federation’s interests when necessary.
• Engaging with known enemies is allowed but be vigilant. Members are expected to exercise caution when dealing with hostile entities to avoid compromising Federation operations or security.

• The Federation leadership holds the authority to designate official enemy factions and individuals.
• Hostile entities may be blacklisted, restricted from any form of engagement, and subject to direct opposition from our forces.

[d] Neutrality and Caution:

• Not all organizations involved in piracy are necessarily enemies, but those who actively attempt to suppress or hunt our members will be treated accordingly.
• Diplomacy remains an option, but trust is earned, not given.
