History

Where there’s scrap, there have always been Jawas. For centuries, scavengers have roamed the stars, reclaiming what others have abandoned. In 2955, the Intergalactic Jawa Association (IJA) was formed out of necessity — a growing need for protection in the increasingly dangerous ‘verse and a desire to increase our profits. We came together as a united front, combining our skills in salvaging and mining with a commitment to security and mutual respect. In a universe fraught with piracy and unrest, the IJA stands as a symbol of resilience, integrity, and the power of collaboration.

Manifesto

Gathering Resources, Honoring Life, and Standing Against Piracy

We, the members of the Intergalactic Jawa Association, stand united under the banner of respect, resourcefulness, and resilience. As a collective of salvage and mining experts, our goal is simple yet noble: to restore the value of abandoned ships and resources scattered across the universe. Through diligence, skill, and a commitment to sustainable exploration, we bring the forgotten back into service for those who respect the sanctity of peaceful trade and exploration.

Our Mission

At our core, we are gatherers, not destroyers. We thrive on salvaging the wrecks and remnants of space, breathing new life into the lost artifacts of the universe. Whether it be a derelict spacecraft or abandoned asteroid deposits, we seek only the forgotten — never the innocent. We are miners, we are salvagers, and we are here to restore what others have left behind.

Our Values

Respect for All: We believe in fairness and respect, not only within our own ranks but towards every citizen of the ‘verse. Our members are bound by a code of conduct that honors the dignity of fellow pilots, whether they are allies, neutrals, or strangers. Every individual deserves respect, and we will extend that courtesy to all.

Integrity Over Profit: Our hands are clean. We do not engage in piracy, theft, or underhanded tactics to achieve our goals. We are resource gatherers, not opportunists. Profits earned through hard work and skill are the only profits we respect.

Standing Against Griefing and Piracy: The Intergalactic Jawa Association has no tolerance for piracy or griefing in any form. We are the antithesis of these destructive forces. We fight for peaceful exploration, not the exploitation of the innocent. Our tools and resources are not weapons for terror; they are instruments of restoration.

Our Role in the ‘Verse

Though we may be seen by some as shady or mysterious due to our profession, we know who we are. We are the ones who scavenge the stars for valuable resources, breathe life into abandoned ships, and never bring harm to the living. We believe in the peaceful accumulation of wealth — a wealth that we will use not only to benefit ourselves but to support those who need help, whether through our security wing or through the goods we recover and trade.

While our primary focus remains on salvaging and mining, we are not afraid to take on a security contract or two when our wallets feel light. We understand the need for protection in these turbulent times and will gladly lend our strength and skill to those who require it. But let it be known — we never turn to piracy or needless violence for profit. Our security services are about restoring balance and keeping the peace, not sowing chaos.

In a universe where conflict and chaos often reign, we are a steady presence. We will not turn to piracy to survive. We will not prey on the weak or the vulnerable. Our focus will always remain on the resources left behind by others, never on the lives of those who wander the stars.

Our Promise

  • We will honor and respect every pilot we encounter, regardless of their allegiance.
  • We will only take what has been abandoned, never what is rightfully owned.
  • We will never engage in piracy or griefing — we believe in peaceful coexistence and mutual respect.
  • We will defend our own, and those who stand for the same values we hold dear.
  • The Intergalactic Jawa Association is not just an organization; it is a way of life. We are resource gatherers, but we are also guardians of peace and order in an ever-chaotic universe. Join us, and together we will turn the forgotten corners of the ‘verse into places of opportunity, honor, and hope.
