Interstellar merchants and engineers (IME)

§1 Name and headquarters
Article 1 Interstellar merchants and engineers (IME) is a non-profit association governed by the present statutes and, secondly, by Articles et seq.

Article 2 The organization’s headquarters is located in
The Association shall be of unlimited duration.

§2 Aims and standings
Article 3 The aims of IME is the following:
To produce products with quality and durability that are affordable.
Transport and deliver the goods in question, without damages or delay.
Assist anyone who is in need of engineering support.
Make new and advanced technologies available for everybody.
No discrimination within the organization and outwards to other citizens.

Article 4 IME are against all sorts of piracy
§3 Resources
Article 5 The Association’s resources are derived from:
Citizens and organization who pays for our services and products.
From donations from other citizens and organization.
From sponsorship from other organizations.
The funds shall be used in accordance with the Association’s social aims.

§4 Members and membership

Subarticle I – Joining IME

Joining IME is free and with few regulations. In order to join, a simple background check will be issued by the board of IME, in order to secure other members safety and reputation of IME.

The critices of the background check are the followning:
The citizen have not been assosated with piracy
The citizen may not have a bounty due to killing* a other citizen or have orderd a killing of an other citizen
If the citizen been baned or suspended from his/hers previus organization(s), IME will contact said organization(s) for further background check.

Infromation about current aflicted and main organization and preveus afflicted and main organizations shall be provided by the citizern in question. If the citizen for some reason does not mention being or has been aflicted to a piracy organisation, and this is discoverd later, it goes under piracy in subarticle VII.

Upon joining, a dossier will be created for the member, where, all missions that the member has been a part of is stored. This infromation is avavbiel for eveyone in IME and IME’s asosited organications().

Subarticle II – Leaving IME

If a member wants to leave the organization, he or she has to send one of the executetive an PM. The exexutetive then sends a list of things that needs to be return to the organization. When all things are returned, the member are free to go.

If the member does not return the said gods, this will be counted as piracy and a bounthy will be issued. The bounty hunder shall bring back the member alive, and the member will be put in the organozation cuarentine. What follows is a list of things the member needs to pay back to IME:

The physical stolen goods or the value in credits of the stolen goods
A fee for stealing from the organisation
The fee for the bounty hunter

When the member has payed, he or she is free to go.

Subarticle III – Benefits of membership

Each member will be given the opportunity to lease a ship. For contitions, see Subarticle IV
Each member has access, if needed, to any help they need. This includes financial, juridical and advising.
The member gets access to all of IME’s databanks, witch includes:
Dossier of all members, current and used-to-be.
All mission logs. Planed, ongonig and finished, and witch members that preformed the mission is also stated. Both IME membvers and members from other organizations is stated here.
Orders from customers. planed ongoing and finished.
All blueprints IME own alone and together with other organizations.
IME’s budget and finases.
Other informations IME is inpoteshion of.

Subarticle VI – Rules members are expected to follow

Do not kill other citizens*(In case of killing in self defense, the case will be processed by the board)**
No piracy
No stealing
Treat fellow members with respect
Complete your mission to all costs, without the organization property, members or organizations contacts gets damaged.

*(Pirates and bounty hunters does not count, if the member is not the one who initiates the combat)
**(No warnings are issued, the member will be suspended accordingly to the suspension rule)

Subarticle IV – The conditions and regulations of renting a ship

Note: The ship will be fitted with stock parts. These rules applies for the renting of a ship.

The condisions are the following: 1. The citizen does not own a ship 2. If the citizen’s own ship is unawable for use 3. If the organization gives a task witch need a special ship

The member may: Do minor customization on the inside
Swap weapons and other moduels(the stock parts shall be keept and returned to the orginaztations main storage facility) Repair damaged parts(send bill to IME HQ) The member may not: Do major customatizons to the outside. Sell or rent the ship further*

Payment is made monthly
If the member is caugt doin this, the member have to buy the ship.
*The ship will be taken back and the member will be fined.

Subarticle V – Actions taken upon violating the IME rules

If a member do go against these rules, the member will be issued a warning and a fee to compensate the eventual damages. If a member breaks the rules once again within the time marginal of , the member will be suspended with immediate effect. A fee will be issued to the member to compensate the cost of the eventual damages and one separate sum as punishmet.

Subarticle VII – If a member want to join after being suspended

If the citizen has been suspended once before, the following applies: The time* between suspension and return is

If the citizen been suspended twice, the following applies: The time* between suspension and return is and the member may be restricted from some missions.

if the citizen has been suspended trice or more, the following applies: The citizen may not join, unless the board says otherwise.

The board may change the time for individual special cases
