In the year 2023, the Indian Interstellar Initiative was built as Indian Star Citizens. Fueled by the desire to create a community that transcends geographical boundaries, the initiative was born as a beacon of unity for players in India.
Recognizing the vast potential within the Star Citizen universe, this organization came together with a mission: to establish a haven for Indian player. In a gaming landscape where India was gradually finding its footing, the founder envisioned a community that not only embraced the diversity of the nation but also provided a platform for players to overcome the challenges of limited local participation. As the gaming community in India grew, so did the organization’s resolve to be a catalyst for fostering connections, camaraderie, and shared adventures among players who yearned for a community that resonated with their cultural context.
The Indian Star Citizens, a vibrant group of space enthusiasts, started a new chapter in their interstellar adventure on the auspicious day of January 1, 2024. Driven by the love and harmony among all that had characterized their expanding community, the organization changed its name to something that spoke to the common goals of its wide range of members. The Indian Interstellar Initiative replaced the Indian Star Citizens as the official name, signifying not only a shift in name but also a growing dedication to exploration, teamwork, and an adventurous mindset.
We’re a PMC. We do not grief others. Piracy is okay and understood, considering the risk of the verse. What’s griefing?
You are doing Repel Raid on Orison mission and see a Pisces Rescue land to rescue someone who is incapacitated. Due to their unannounced but non-threatening arrival, you must ask their intention as to why they are there. If they respond that they are there to rescue someone, allow them to proceed. We DO NOT KILL MEDICS. Exception is when the medic is trying to rescue the guy that you had shot down. GIve him/her plenty of warning before firing warning shot, and if still not deterred, lethal shot.
Another exception is when the medic is not communicative. Fire enough shots to strip their shields but do not destroy in the first attempt.
Unity & Fun: Together, we ensure everyone enjoys the game and looks out for each other.
Real Life Priority: Life always comes first – no judgment for real-life obligations
Participation: We encourage regular involvement in the discord and attendance of I3 events.
We’re not typical. It is sad to say that the majority of “Indian” groups or such in other games are quite communal. A few jokes here and there are okay but only if it doesn’t offend others. To make it simple, do not talk about sensitive topics when someone on the other end is in VC/conversation. For example, do not talk, or even joke, about berating a woman if there is one in VC. Keep your opinion to yourself. We’re here to escape the harsh reality of the real world, not to bring it into our sessions.
Respect everyone: Treat everyone with respect, both inside and outside org.
No Discrimination: We have zero tolerance for discrimination or harassment.
Dispute Resolution: If you ever feel unsafe or uncomfortable in org, both in game and on Discord, due to the actions of our member, please report it to any moderator online.
Ethical Play: No cheating or cheat enabling programs. ONLY Reshade is acceptable. Basically don’t do anything that’ll get you banned ingame.
Organization Representation: If you hold the “Regular” tag, you are a representative member of our org. Be nice to others and try to recruit as many Indians or our neighbors as possible. You are the face of our organization. Do not let us down. This will remain in place till a proper ranking system is in place.
Confidentiality: Don’t snitch :)
