Nestled within the heart of the Glaciem ring in the Nyx system lies Delamar, a bustling hub of activity and the most heavily populated asteroid in the Nyx belt alpha. Delamar’s history is a rich and fascinating one, starting as an abandoned QV Planet Services mining facility and transforming into a thriving independent community known as Levski.

In 2655, a group of political dissidents against the United Empire of Earth (UEE) saw the potential in the abandoned facility and established the People’s Alliance, naming the community after the revolutionary hero Vasil Levski from Earth (Sol III). The early settlers of Levski were a diverse group, including refugees from the Messer Era on Earth and those escaping unjust government persecution. They founded the community on the principles of equality, providing a safe haven for all seeking a fresh start.

Today, Delamar serves as a hub for miners who extract resources from the asteroids in the Glaciem ring. Its central location has made it the most densely populated and heavily trafficked location within the Nyx system. Despite opposition from the People’s Alliance, Levski still attracts a variety of adventurers, misfits, and outlaws, including pirates and smugglers seeking to conduct their illicit activities. Despite its rough exterior, Delamar remains a symbol of hope for those seeking freedom and a place to call home.

People’s Alliance

The People’s Alliance is an independent political group that operates outside the control of the United Empire of Earth (UEE). Their objective is to establish a society based on principles of equality and community.

Formed during the reign of Imperator Corsen Messer V, the People’s Alliance arose in response to his harsh policies on crime, including the widespread use of the death penalty and suspension of the right to trial for political crimes. They started with participating in community aid programs and peaceful protests against these laws.

However, as their members faced arrests, imprisonment, and execution, the People’s Alliance changed their focus. Rather than attempting to change society, they aimed to create their own society that embodies their values.

Today, the People’s Alliance remains open to accepting new members who desire to live free from government control. They offer a safe and supportive community for those who share their values.

Their mission was to find new sources of sustenance and provide a better future for their fellow settlers.

The Intergalactic People’s Alliance of Levski was born from the spirit of cooperation, determination, and a relentless pursuit of a better life. The organization’s primary goal was to provide aid, resources, and support to Delemar and its residents while exploring the vastness of space. They aimed to expand their reach and bring hope to those in need, building a better future for generations to come.
