Interstellar Transporters Association / ITA

At first, ITA was just a name of regulars at a tiny thread on the well-known anonymous forum “2ch”.
The regulars were independent transporters. They had a chat during a long transporting work, so their topics were naturally about information of interstellar political, current legislative activities, black marketing, and so on.
Soon, the thread became a center of information for their business.
In the year of 2943, founders established the association as organization for independent transporters only.
As the association became big, becoming a member as transport company was allowed in 2944.

ITA’s primary language is Japanese. It may look odd, but it’s because of our cultural roots.
History says “2ch” was born in the end of 20C. In the earliest decades, the forum contributors’ primary language was Japanese.

ITAはその最初期、よく知られた匿名フォーラム“2ちゃんねる“の小さなスレッドの常連たちの呼び名であった。
常連たちは独立した運送業者で、長い退屈な運送業務の合間にITAで雑談をして過ごしていた。
彼らの話題は当然、星間政治や審議中の新たな法制度について、闇市場についてといったものであったので、
時を経ずしてそのスレッドは彼らのビジネスの情報交換の中心となった。
2943年、創設者たちは独立系運送業者のみの協会を立ち上げた。
協会が大きくなるにつれ、2944年には運送会社の企業としての参加が許可されるようになった。

ITAにおいて主に用いられる言語は日本語である。これは奇妙に思われるかもしれないが、彼らの文化的ルーツに関係がある。
歴史によれば、“2ちゃんねる“は20世紀の終わりに誕生したと言われている。その最初期の数十年間、フォーラムへの寄稿者の第一言語は日本語だったのである。
