History

– ORIGINS – Our story started with the uprising of pirate insurgencies throughout the Magnus star system, including various surrounding systems in the year 2930. We were a clan of former UEE naval pilots and security escort pilots who were looking for work. Any form of work that put us back in the pilot seat of a ship with fire power was ideal. We still had connections to the UEE that helped us land our first contract which was to help the UEE with their fight against those pirates, and they paid us pretty well for it. Formerly known as Viking Squad in those days, our small band of mercenaries grew and made quite the impression to local star systems. We had nearly tripled in size in just 2 years. We even managed to secure an affiliation to Drake Interplanetary, making their ships, especially the Cutlass, integral to our fleets cause. This gave our small organisation a level playing field against the pirates, and we sure gave them a fight to remember. Our success stopped the spread of piracy through many star systems including Kilian, Ellis, Goss and Terra but their constitution proved strong as they continually thwarted us from other systems like Pyro, Min and Nyx, which are to this day under pirate control. The UEE eventually lost interest and considered our success’s, and losses, a victory. Our contract was ended and the funding stopped coming in. Our fight has since shifted to looking outward from the central pirate owned systems. Space Vikings has tenaciously fought many battles across countless new frontiers. In the darkest vacuums of the unknown to the harshest alien terrains, we fight with the ruthlessness and cunning of those great ancient warriors that we have proudly named our brotherhood after. We are the Space Vikings.

Manifesto

Some would consider us to be born in the wrong era. That we might have been happiest on the battlefield with a bastard sword in one hand and a shield in the other, covered in the blood of our enemies. They could not be more wrong. We are still Viking. Our longboats are now deep space exploration vessels which will take us further then ever before. Our swords are now high velocity ballistic cannons so that we can puncture more devastating holes through our enemies’ armor. We will continue to be the greatest explorers through uncharted territory, and we will continue to subdue those who stand in our way.

Space Vikings is a unity of skilled warriors and explorers who dedicate their efforts towards strengthening themselves and those they fight for.
Our professionalism and loyalty come at a price, but those willing to pay it will know victory. Our mission is to explore the frontier and help those with honor, fight to hold it.

We uphold the law of the UEE and will only negotiate contractual terms with entities that also abide by that law.

Charter

  • We are only as strong as our weakest, therefore, it is our duty to make our brother’s and sister’s stronger, smarter and able.
  • Treat your brothers and sisters with respect. And more so, treat your enemy with that same respect.
  • We will not tolerate any griefing, misogyny, bigotry, racism, or homophobia.

If one of our own violates these rules, remind them of our standards.
If they persist, then they have betrayed their loyalty to the clan and are therefor our enemy. Destroy them.
