We’re a compact, active, skilled team and we’ve been working together for years. It would be wrong to say that pirates fear us or that were famous pilots or renown in any way at all. I’d rather our future actions speak more for us instead of making outrageous claims this early in development.
LUCKYSTARS is a team of people who somehow came together across lightyears one way or another, and generally work to do something positive somehow, we guess. We’re generally not the first to shoot in an engagement. I’d like to test bounty hunting without shooting first! People tend to listen and follow more closely to kind words. Negotiation could become one of our valued skills.
This page will be filled out more as we interact with other organizations and operate within the PU, whenever that’s released. Its iterated in other sections that we will be making our own history as events happen.
We want to build a vivid history within the PU. Our intentions depend on what is possible by the time that is released. I can imagine quite a few interesting missions regarding interactions with other players in trade and combat, exploring new systems, mining… In the end our missions will be dictated by what resources we have available and what we are willing to embark on.
“I look forward to the interactions we will be having with other organizations, there may be missions where we need to hire escort ships from a PMC or maybe things go in the direction of shady trade and we need to avoid the law or something, at this stage, its quite vague what adventures we will be having!”

We don’t really have a defined set of rules, and don’t see a need for any yet either. In order to stay in this crew you’ve got to refrain from causing problems and disorder within and beyond the team. We don’t want anyone doing anything that will affect the entire crew in a negative way. So don’t be a dick, have fun (but not at the expense of others) and don’t get mad!
On the topic of ranking, its mostly arbitrary. Every crewman’s word counts. It’s judged by seniority, how many ships you have and a little toward how much respect one should be given. That doesn’t mean anyone with 4-5 stars demands or needs to be given mega respect, we’ve just been here since the start and were generally reasonable and trustworthy people.
There’s value to be had in people having different ranks, it increases our internal security, especially in the PU if we have a org funds and resources pool. It also adds a bit more structure to any operations we engage in. But anyone ranked wont be exploiting that in ways like “Get me a soda!” or “Scrub the poop deck!” If someone explodes a toilet they’re expected to clean up after themselves, righty.
