What is Magellanic?

Magellanic is a player-run corporation in the Star Citizen game universe which is based on a “co-op” corporate model with members working together cooperatively for mutual benefit.

Magellanic is organized into five interconnected divisions which offer a wide variety of play styles:

• Exploration: Space Exploration, Jump Point Mapping, and Resource Location
• Resources: Asteroid Mining, Gas Giant Harvesting, and Salvage Operations
• Industry: Industrial Fabrication, Construction, and Repair Services
• Logistics: Trading, Transportation, and Refueling Services
• Security Ops: Escort, Incursion Deterrence, Asset Recovery, and Bounty Hunting

While not strictly a role playing organization per se, Magellanic does firmly embrace the deep level of immersion and lore which is being crafted into and around Star Citizen.

Most importantly, our focus is to be a fun, family-friendly, and inclusive Star Citizen community for all players. We are dedicated to creating a positive gaming experience by maintaining high standards of ethics and honor.

While we conduct our activities within the framework of applicable rules and regulations, for us, mere compliance is not enough. We strive for more than that. Our Divisions

Exploration Division

“Space, is big. Really big. You just won’t believe how vastly, hugely, mindbogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it’s a long way down the road to the chemist’s, but that’s just peanuts to space!”

Exploration Division’s primary mission is to reach out into the vast, unexplored regions of the galaxy to map star systems and to locate exploitable resources and uncharted jump points.

Through exploration, Magellanic is pushing the boundaries of humanity’s frontiers, extending the Imperium’s influence and expanding our knowledge of the universe.

Resources Division

Magellanic is bringing the natural resources of interstellar space within humanity’s economic sphere of influence, propelling our future beyond the 31st century. Water from asteroids and hydrogen from gas giant planets fuel the in-space economy, and rare metals increase the Imperium’s GDP.

Resource Division’s mission is clear: apply commercial, innovative techniques to probe the abundant resource-rich asteroids and gas giant planets within our reach. We will then develop the most efficient capabilities to harvest, process, and deliver these resources to our customers.

Industry Division

Magellanic is a leader in the manufacturing of quality products from UEE Military specification armaments to general industrial and a wide range of commercial and consumer items. Whether it’s a simple or complex component, short run or high volume production, you can rely on Magellanic as your resource from concept through order fulfillment. At Magellanic we are dedicated to supporting our customers with innovative products and solutions.

Logistics Division

Magellanic’s Logistics Division is an interplanetary logistics provider. We create flexible solutions for your transportation, distribution and fleet support needs.
