Monctonian Solutions is an up and coming corporate entity that is finalizing its funding efforts to launch an exploratory fleet in the coming year.
Unusual among Corporations, Monctonian Solutions is a confederation of contractors that were dissatisfied with their previous employment within the UEEs elite industries. The founding members found that their previous employers lacked adequate empathy or morality and as such chose to leave more lucrative employment.
These individuals decided to forge their own path and do business in a way that they felt was right. Like minded individuals were easy to find and the small group quickly gained the numbers and talent it needed to strike out on its own.
When the doors open on the Monctonian Solutions fleet hangers late 2945 the verse will never be the same again.
The Goal of Monctonian Solutions is to navigate the verse and discover its secrets in a profitable manner. Fundamentally; we are a law abiding corporation centered around exploration, information brokering and the transport of goods and people.
We aim to accomplish this while adhering to our core principals of inclusion, empowerment, civil engagement and fiscal responsibility.
When our ships launch to begin our joint venture we intend to head towards the Xi’an empire. Timely access to alien technology is virtually guaranteed to offer our fledgling organization great benefits. The Xi’an are also an extremely lawful people with little tolerance for law breakers. This may offer us some protection from less reputable organizations so long as we keep our activities within the law.
It is unknown at this time what, if any, requirements we may have to meet to be permitted to cross the border. The only information we have is that contraband goods will be difficult to transport across the DMZ that separates UEE space from the Xi’an empire.
We will cross the border near the Rihlah system. This is a struggling system with an overabundance of labor but insufficient industry to maintain its current population. This means that acquiring crewmen for our ships should be relatively cheap and production materials should be in high demand. Our presence will no doubt help in stabilizing this port if we can invigorate their industry by being mindful of how the jobs we take will effect the market in this area.
The Rihlah system has two additional benefits: It is relatively close to space controlled by the mercantile Banu race and is a good jumping point to unexplored areas which will allow us to use it as a home base of sorts for a diverse arrangement of activities.

Monctonian Solutions is a federation of individuals who are seeking fulfilling and economic encounters in the verse.
We organize communal activities that benefit our members and push the overall goals described in our Manifesto.
Our members are permitted to join other organizations and we allow applicants that are primarily linked with another organization, provided any member of Monctonian Solutions maintains our core principals wherever they may travel in the verse.
Our charter is currently an evolving document. Changes may be frequent and unannounced as we discover what practices will best suite Monctonian Solutions now and in the future. As such, submit any recommendations to the CEO (Doorknocker).
PRINCIPAL BELIEFS AND EXPECTATIONS OF MEMBERS
Monctonian Solutions was founded on the belief that everything in the verse is there for the enjoyment of the people who risk venturing out into the black. To facilitate this ideal there are four principals that stand as pillars to support Monctonian Solutions and its members.
INCLUSION
It is critical that members of any organization feel that they belong. Inclusion means listening to others and sometimes prioritizing the needs of others over your immediate wants. It also means reciprocating this sentiment when you have benefited from it.
EMPOWERMENT
Sometimes people struggle to find a place and a voice on their own. There can be many reasons for this, but Monctonian Solutions wants its members to feel that they have real agency in the verse. To value empowerment means helping other up to your level and valuing the feedback of every member of the organization even if they aren’t yet able to contribute on the same level as others.
CIVIL ENGAGEMENT
The 20th century civil rights icon Mahatma Gandhi once said “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.” Monctonian Solutions takes this to heart. Sometimes it is important for a person, or organization, to act independently for the benefit of others. This means always doing what you feel is right, even if it might be hard or less profitable. This holds true in dealing with all aspects of the the verse not just the membership of Monctonian Solutions itself.
FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY
This pillar essentially boils down to maximize profit and minimize costs and risk. However it is the opinion of Monctonian Solutions that this also means considering what effect your actions will have on the verse as a whole. Consider the long term ramifications of your actions and support the infrastructure that benefits us all.
THE LEADERSHIP OF MONCTONIAN SOLUTIONS: THE BOARD OF EXECUTIVES
Roles and Responsibilities:
Members of the Board are separated into two categories, official and unofficial. Official Members have roles that are granted access in some capacity to administer the organization itself, how exactly differs depending on the role. Unofficial roles have responsibilities to perform that do not require any sort of special access to the organization itself. All Board members are expected to engage with the other members of the organization and take part in the leadership process including executive votes.
Official roles:
CEO (Doorknocker)
The leader of the Board of Executives. Responsible for breaking ties during votes, Delegating important roles and taking emergency action if an irreconcilable issue arises. The CEO may also assist the other Board members when required and will delegate responsibilities for any absent roles. The CEO has access to modify the content and membership of the organization.
Executive (Currently Vacant)
Essentially a Delegate for the CEOs duties, should the need arise. Likely to remain Vacant until the Organization expands considerably. Has access to modify the ranks and roles of members. (Not taking applicants at this time)
Human resources (Currently Vacant)
The Board Member in charge of recruitment. Responsible for engaging with people outside of the organization and increasing brand recognition in the verse. Has access to manage applicants to the organization. (applicants should be charismatic with strong language skills)
Marketing (Currently Vacant)
Responsible for updating the Organizations History, Manifesto and Charter, when the need arises. Has access to manage the content of the organization page. (applicants should have a very strong grasp of English and display a strong attention to detail)
Unofficial roles:
Chief Engineer (Currently Vacant)
Responsible for providing accurate easy to understand information about the verse and its mechanics. They are expected to assist members who are looking for certain information or are confused about some aspect of the verse. (applicants should be well versed on any technical information available, from ship stats to pilot control schemes)
Head of External Operations (Currently Vacant)
The de facto military leader of the organization.
This board member provides guidance and organization for an excursions made by the organization and its members. They may also delegate leadership roles for said excursions (e.g. squad leaders) (Applicants should perform well in combat and be adept and organizing large groups quickly)
Chairman of the Mercantile Committee (Currently Vacant)
Responsible for the financial well being of the organization and its membership.
The chairman is expected to maintain a healthy understanding of commerce in the verse. They track the organization’s cash flow and advise members on how they can increase revenue streams or reduce operating costs. (Applicants should have a plan for how to accurately plot profit margins. experience with spreadsheets may be an asset)
Delegation of roles
Currently all Board Members are delegated these positions by the founder and CEO Doorknocker. This process will evolve as the positions fill and Monctonian Solutions gains more active members. As most of these Roles are currently vacant, please apply to Doorknocker if you feel you would like to serve in any capacity.
Member Rank:
Below is a description of what the various member ranks represent. Please remember that higher rank does not give one member any authority over another. Participation in organization activities is always voluntary. Only the Board of Executives as a whole has any additional authority, and even then only in terms of the membership and general vision of the Organization.
Rank 0 Intern
Trial members. Every member starts at this rank and remains until they are certain that they want to fully commit to being a member of Monctonian Solutions. The only requirement for a member to advance from this rank is to contact the CEO or Executive and state your commitment.
Rank 1 Junior
Member in good standing. The default rank most members are granted once they have chosen to commit to Monctonian Solutions
Rank 2 Senior
Member who has performed work at the request of Monctonian Solutions or a member who has shown themselves to exemplify the values of the organization. Any Board Member may request an that a member of Monctonian Solutions be granted this rank. No approval process is required. Other organization members may petition a Board member if they would like to nominate another member for this distinction, at which point it is at the discretion of that Board Member.
Rank 3 Manager
Member who routinely works for the benefit of Monctonian Solutions or who performs a service requiring an advanced distinction. Any Board Member may petition for a member to be granted this rank at which point it is voted on by the board. A majority approval of the board is required to grant this title.
Rank 4 Director
Previous Board Members or organization members who have performed a unique and extravagant service for Monctonian Solutions. Rarely held beyond board alumnis this rank is primarily used to thank Board members for their service after they step down. In extreme circumstances this rank may be granted to a individual for other superior service to the organization. In the latter case unanimous Board member approval is needed to bestow this distinction.
Rank 5 Board Member
Currently tasked with a leadership role and responsibility. Only member currently serving on the Board of Executives hold this rank and only for the duration of their service on the board.
LEAVING THE ORGANIZATION
Members choosing to leave Monctonian Solutions may do so at any time, provided they give other members a chance to say goodbye and thank them for the time together.
