Liberators / PITFU

Created in 2679, shortly before first contact with the Vanduul in 2681 by a man named Elijah Malcrum. The Liberators, a group that was originally created to safeguard the Orion System from criminal scum and was at one point the main security unit the system relied on. The day the Vanduul attacked though was the day that all changed. The Vanduul’s numbers were overwhelmingly immense and dwarfed the size of the Liberator fleet. The Liberators fought tooth and nail for a day but barely put a dent in the opposing forces. As they fought they tried their best to rescue as many as possible but the amount of Vanduul made that impossible and soon took down the Liberator’s carrier that was doing it’s best to protect Armitage, the carrier crashed within the city of Armitage and for those that survived such a crash secured a nearby building. Malcrum and the remaining Liberator forces held up in that building for six long hours and were practically fighting with anything they could pick up off the ground. Sadly the Vanduul’s Kingship laid waste to the building killing Malcrum and the remaining Liberators.

The Vanduul ended up taking the system along with others over the years killing millions within the process. The thing that they failed at doing though was killing Elijah’s son which grew up to take on the name of a Liberator and resurrected the fleet once more in 2698. The Liberators have proudly been leading the charge ever since in the battles between Humanity and the Vanduul with its new mission being to liberate the fallen systems and to put an end to these savage monsters.

After fighting for 251 years and after three generations of leaders we finally have a grip on the Vanduul. We can’t do this alone though and need your help to finish what we have started and to avenge every soul lost in this war.
