History

2942.10.28: Our founder, lacking plans, but not ambition and drive jumped at the opportunity to become a small, independent spacefarer. A MISC Freelancer was purchased about 36 hours later. Five days after this acquisition (42.11.04), the realization of being able to write his own history into the galaxy would only be possible by creating a business that he could personally brand. Organization ideas, types and names came and went quickly over the next 13 months.

This organization was already well in its formative stage by 43.July.12, when the name Propheteer Ventures was conceived.. At the time, we were hoping to flip xeno real estate. Thankfully this became possible in 2947.Oct. The word ”science” was added to our name in 2955.March, This was due to aligning with the Academy of Science.

Real estate, science…the list of considered ventures is too long to include. Propheteer was to be the parent company of what was expected to be a family of various “ventures” — and I use quotes because depending on the light, the black market can be viewed as gray. So, in addition to “trading”, we had plans to exploit (mine) the fruits of the empire too.

44.01.21, the tiny Propheteer operation becomes a UEE registered navjump corporation. Since then, ”Science” has been added to the name, but only after having been reimagined a number of times over the next 11 years.

On 2944.11.30, Propheteer became a step closer to making their dream of space exploration a reality by purchasing an Anvil Carrack. This vessel was named Morpheus Exoro.

2947.07.03: We shift our focus from space exploration to celestial object exploration and mapping. Through this new focus we expect to procure bizarre creatures, strange plants and if we’re lucky, interesting artifacts. Propheteer coins the term xenoquities. This term is used for xeno artifacts much like the term antiquities, but also includes modern, mysterious objects of unknown origin.

2947.December, a land claim is purchased.

2950: The idea to extract/gather resources to sell to researchers comes to mind and becomes our new direction

2952.10.16 @ 10:30 hrs. EST Propheteer starts to reorganize from an exploration corp. into a private investigations agency.
52.10.16, the scope widens from exploration and data transport — hacking included — to became a trifecta with the decision to conduct investigation gameplay into the mix.

2954.02.26: Plans to contract with Protlife Insurance to conduct regular investigations.

On 54.04.30, what was originally an epiphany, suddenly turned into a revelation of galactic magnitude. Our desire to find the Artemis that had been growing each year shot up to 100% on this day. Propheteer settled back into a complete exploration mindset while realizing the corporation should permanently stay a solo act.

Albeit unknown to the masses, we see ourselves as the premier Artemis hunting firm. Small, efficient and all knowing.

The announcement of the Academy of Science guild in 2954 gave Propheteer a clearer roadmap. Farming was added to the enterprises while data transport was removed to fully be a science related corporation aside from investigation missions.

Today, with what little there is, Propheteer operates out of an asteroid hangar in Nyx and will continue to do so until the UEE red tape regarding the fair chance act in Cano Sys. is cleared.

This is where we stand as of now. Little history, but lots of drive. Check back as we write compelling history over the pages of time.

A person with all the answers because he has been personally chosen by god himself to relay messages.

Vision and drive is our 1:1 propulsion concoction. With it, we’ll make our mark on the galaxy. Exploring celestial objects in our DUR is the basis of our strategy.

Since Propheteer’s formation, our plan was to profit through exploration. This desire to explore has only increased as of 2954.July when we became hell-bent on finding the Artemis. We read the tea leaves during those prior three years. The result: Profit at Propheteer is to take a back seat to adventure. We are now going full retard in that regard. We intend to go for broke in hunting for the Artemis.

The target is locked.

We will spare little expense in uncovering the ill fated ship’s hiding spot. Then again, more satisfying would be to do it as a lone wolf on a shoestring budget, up against Legatus status “civizens” with their massive fleets full of buyers’ remorse. Because of our Carrack purchase in 2944, Propheteer won’t be the pauper of exploration, but we will see what we can accomplish with what kittle we have purchased as of 2954.July

They say it’s not the kill, but the thrill of the chase. The adrenaline at Propheteer is already pumping and we suspect it will be late 2959 before we can release our inner hunting dog.

Others say “Release the Kraken”, but at Propheteer we say “Release the hound”.

You’ve seen how excited hunting hounds get as the hunters and horses gather to start the hunt…that’s Propheteer barking and wagging its tail as the thrill of the chase gets under way.

Judging from many of the forum remarks, this prophet sees a lot of powder puff competition. We also see the Artemis on an undiscovered planet, outside of UEE borders, waiting to be discovered.

We hope investigation game loop and missions as well as farming can pay the bills as we dive deeper into our passion: Solving the mysteries of the galaxy. None of which is greater than finding the Artemis.

Our Post-Artemis Recovery Bucket List:

2) The Quasi ruins and the Vasli Stone found on Terra III. Once our main objective has been accomplished, we’ll get serious about turning a profit and building out our land claim.
3) Hedesian secrets and disappearance.
4) Tevarin culture and their origin including Rijora destruction and it’s looting.
5) Weapons cache in Kabal Sys.
6) Finding the lost colony.
7) Finding the Kreel System The Xi-An mortal enemy.
8) ~~Snooping around Chronos System to see what we uncover~~.
9) Parker Terrell’s disappearance in 2943. Was it a kidnapping or a ploy?

As a one man operation, we have few rules & regulations other than trying to achieve citizenship ASAP.

We plan to fly out of the blue and into the black each Sunday at 2000 hrs. zulu/Earth Standard Time (8:00 pm UTC).

Why fly at the busiest time on the busiest server? We want to take in the sights and see our butterfly effect from the prior week.
