History
Founding Days
Born from necessity and bound by trust, Raggedy Edge Mercantile was formed by a handful of captains who found themselves cast adrift on the edges of civilized space. Each carried their own share of scars, debts, and dreams, but they shared one common desire: freedom. Rather than bow to corporate overlords or pirate lords, they chose to carve out a life on the raggedy edge of the ‘Verse, trading goods and making their way without stepping on the innocent.
The Early Runs
The group started small, running low-risk, high-ingenuity jobs—moving cargo, trading under the table, and helping those too downtrodden to make it alone. They operated with a code: no piracy, no slavery, and no betrayal among their own. Their reputation as reliable traders with a code of honor spread, earning them allies and a steady flow of contracts across UEE space and the frontier.
Finding Unity
The captains eventually saw the benefit of formalizing their loose network into something more organized—if only to protect themselves from larger threats. Thus, Raggedy Edge Mercantile became not just a collective of freelancers but a proper organization with a shared vision: to prosper while maintaining their independence and sense of justice.
Navigating the Black

We Live Free

Welcome to the Raggedy Edge
We’re a collective of free souls, independent captains, and skilled traders making a life out in the ‘Verse. The rules here are simple, and they’re the glue that holds this mercantile family together. Beyond that, you’re free to chart your own course and take on the jobs that suit you.
The Rules
1. No Pirating
We don’t tolerate pirates. There’s no honor in preying on the defenseless or making a living through fear and violence. If you think piracy is the way to glory, think again—it’s a quick ticket out of this crew. We trade, we hustle, we earn, but we don’t steal or terrorize.
2. No Slaving
Trading in lives is the lowest of the low, and it has no place here. We’re a crew that values freedom above all else. Anyone who deals in slavery, directly or indirectly, is no friend of the Raggedy Edge. Break this rule, and you’ll lose not only your place but the respect of every honest soul out here.
Freedom to Fly
What you do with your ship is your business. Take the jobs you want, run the cargo you like, and blaze your own trail through the ‘Verse. Whether you’re hauling legitimate freight, salvaging wrecks, or dealing in gray market goods, the only limits are the rules above. Fly smart, stay out of trouble, and don’t bring unnecessary heat back to the crew.
Trust Among the Crew

Respect & Reputation

If someone breaks the rules or damages the reputation of the Raggedy Edge, they’ll answer to their fellow captains. Sanctions will be fair, and the punishment will fit the crime. We’re not here to micromanage, but we’re not afraid to deal with trouble when it comes.
No Login Requirement or Exclusivity
We understand that life in the ‘Verse is unpredictable, and so is life outside of it. There’s no requirement to log in or be active for any specific amount of time. Members are free to come and go as they please. Additionally, you’re welcome to join other organizations as long as your actions within those orgs don’t violate the two core rules: no pirating, no slaving.
