The History of redActed

An Overview

redActed was first founded in the Stanton System in the year 2950 under the direction of SpudinatorYOW and RadioactiveDeuterium. Throughout their first year of operations their operations were rather small working bounties on small to medium risk targets working for Hurston Security, Crusader Security, and some smaller contractors as well. Moving into 2951 the founders began work for the local Lorville based security contractor Miles Eckhart. Working contracts for Eckhart the founders began taking on larger and larger contracts successfully taking out larger ships such as the Ageis Retaliator and Hammerhead. With their performance they began recruiting more members and built up their crew allowing them to take out their biggest target yet, an Ageis Idris-M stolen by the notorious Arlington Gang. These events set into motion the further creation of the redActed Private Military Company.

The Founders

RadioactiveDeuterium

RadioactiveDeuterium, commonly going by just Radioactive became freelance a bounty hunter in the year 2946 starting off with nothing more than an Ageis Avenger Stalker. With this ship he got his start in the industry but aspired for more. His next notable ship purchase would be his Crusader Industries Mercury Star Runner which remains his ship of choice until today. In the year 2949 he would meet SpudinatorYOW and decide to combine his efforts to create something larger. His next aspiration is to purchase and command a Drake Kraken under the redActed corporation.

SpudinatorYOW

In the early days SpudinatorYOW specialized in much more tactical operation than his co-founder. His signature combat ship is the Ageis Eclipse which he used to take down many ships over 100x its weight. His two most notable early achievements are taking down a Ageis Hammerhead with a single Argos IX Torpedo and his assistance in elimination a hostile Ageis Idris-M. He also specialized in heavy cargo hauling using one of the most prestigious cargo ships in the verse’, the Banu Merchantman. He would go on to lead the strategic logistics branch of redActed.

The Manifesto of redActed

Vision

redActed’s vision is to provide premier private military, security, and bounty hunting services to the entire verse’. We seek to provide a solution to any offensive or defensive needs a client may have no matter the size of the job.

Morals

redActed is a neutral organization and is not aligned with any other group. redActed refrains from taking part in piracy and illegal actives. redActed believes in equal opportunities for all of its members and does not discriminate in any way when making assigning and granting promotions.

Outlooks

As a neutral organization redActed takes no stance on any other outside organization and its actions are exclusively based on the best interest of the client.

Charter

The Charter of redActed

Structure

The hierarchal structure of redActed consists of the following ranks:

  • -General
  • -Colonel
  • -Captain
  • -Lieutenant
  • -Officer
  • -Recruit

At any time there will be three (3) serving Generals, and up to six (6) Colonels. All other ranks have no limits on the amount of serving members. All promotions will be based on merit and performance.

There are two distinct structures within redActed. The council and the three operational branches.

The Council

The council consists of three sections:

  • -High Council: Consists of the three (3) Generals
  • -Low Council: Consists of the up to six (6) Colonels
  • -General Council: Consists of all serving Captains

All council members are entitled to the same voting rights regardless of position on the council and council rank represents responsibilities rather than power. All decisions made thru the council require 51% support from the council to pass.

The only decisions that are limited to specific roles are:

  • -Appointment of new Generals – Exclusive decision of the High Council
  • -Appointment of new Colonels – Exclusive decision of the High and Low Council
  • -Removal of any appointed official – In addition of a 51% vote 2/3 High Council members must agree

Branches

The second core structure of redActed is made up of its three branches, with the three generals each commanding one branch. Each branch may have up to two (2) appointed Colonels.

Tactical

General in Command: RadioactiveDeuterium
Colonels: TBA

The tactical division of redActed is responsible for the core military operations of the corporation. It commands all military ships and issues all combat related orders.

Strategic Logistics

General in Command: SpudinatorYOW
Colonels: TBA

The strategic logistics division is responsible for control and movement of company property, stocking and provisioning arms and supplies and issues logistics related orders.

Auxiliary

General in Command: TBA
Colonels: TBA

The auxiliary division is responsible for anything not covered by tactical and strategic logistics. The auxiliary division handles medical, scientific, and any other operations that may be required.

Rules and Policy

  • -All members of redActed will refrain from toxic behavior, this includes abusive communications (voice, text or otherwise) and grieving towards other org members or citizens.
  • -All members will not cheat or gain an unfair advantage in any way.
  • -All members will respect the internal structure of the organization.
  • -These rules and policy’s can be changed or amended by the council at any time.
