History of CRI

EST 2020 the year of the lockdown.

Central Ridge Mining was a mining company based in the SOL system.
The idea of a mining company was spoken about over a beer in the legendary Pub known as “The Griffins Rest”. The Collaboration of space pilots was made in the squadron known covertly as “D&T” plans were made by these revolutionary pilots on the back of a fag packet, the rest, as they say, is history.

Today we are now known as Central Ridge Industries INC (CRI).

We are now training new pilots with our Pilot Integration Department of Gaming Equality (PIDGE).
We also have come along way, with our new flight code for safer working practises- Défense, Egress, Volatile, Service (DEVS)

We here at CRI are committed to mining resources that make our universe a better place.

Charter

Company Rules and Regulations.

If any member is found breaking rule #1 or #2 more than once, it will result in an immediate dismissal from CENTRAL RIDGE INDUSTRIES INC.

Rule 1 “The Arse Hole Clause”

The purpose of this rule is rather simple, we want to provide an enjoyable environment and that isn’t helped if somebody is being purposefully rude, disruptive or a little bitch. That sort of attitude creates a hostile environment, which isn’t an enjoyable environment to be in. You wouldn’t want someone being an Shit head in your own home, and neither do we.

Rule 2- “The Drama Queen Clause”

This is one of the rules we stress the most. This ranges from grumbling about decisions and personal opinions, to openly stirring up ill feeling in a malicious way. If you ever at any point encounter a problem which causes disagreement, whether it be an Organization decision or an argument with staff or a member, please bring it to the attention of an Officer in a calm manner; instead of venting it on social media.

Rule 3 – “Real Life Clause”

Here at CRI we all understand that there are concerns that exist outside of the Organization and the game. Most of us have jobs and other interests, and a lot of us have families. There are external pressures and CRI will never ask you to put your role within the Organization or Star Citizen ahead of your real life. Whenever you have to take a break, just make a post in the forums and someone will quickly respond with “This Is The Way.” And that is how it should be.

Rule 4 – “Comms”

All Communications of CRI will be handled in 2 Areas:-

  • Discord channel. All members regardless of station, will be permitted to talk on this channel. The discord channel will ONLY be used for SC activity.
  • WhatsApp Group, This can be used by all by innovation only and used a planning tool . all future OPS and timings will be shared here, then filtered down to Discord accordingly.

Multi-Org Policy
Leadership
All leadership positions in CRI (Division Heads, Team Leaders, Recruiters, etc) must be primary members of the CRI org. Org tags and signatures must be visible at all times. Membership in affiliate Organizations must be approved on a case by case basis.
Exclusivity
Membership in ADI requires all members to be a primary member of the CRI org and MUST NOT be set as affiliate. They may join ‘club style’ affiliate orgs, but leadership reserves the right to black list orgs, or prohibit membership if said membership poses a security risk to CRI.
Piracy
At no time may any member of CRI be associated with a pirate organization. If you feel the need to commit piracy on your own….. Crack on!
Concealment
Attempts to hide or redact org status from CRI leadership or the general public will result in the immediate termination of any member caught doing so, in all cases. Even if the affiliate org membership in and of itself is not a violation of the Multi-Org Policy.
