We used to be just like you. Working 18-hour days for some of the biggest corporations in the Terra system. Working for pittance and getting less than we deserve for our hard work and dedication to our corporate overlords and for what?
A measly pay and much less for our high to low grade materials than was fair or even legal on a 6-day rotating roster each week. IF we fell in the line of duty not even our families were paid compensation and they also went hungry if we didn’t work if we were sick or injured. We began a rebellion against the system and all we got was time in jail for our efforts to try to make a better life four ourselves, wives and children.

Once our time was up, we all thousands of us all agreed that we will do something to never let this happen to anyone of us ever again. So, we began to recruit people off the street, nothing high and fancy other than working citizens trying to make a stand for right and improve the lives of these still stuck in the corporate meat grinder of society. We get it life is competitive and we all need to make UEC’s to survive but this was not living anymore this was living a life of servitude to a small few who massively benefitted from our struggles and were also breaking the law to do it and do you think that the UEE did anything to stop it!?

The straight-out answer is no! So, we banded together to form Salvation. We have been planning this for many years prior to now, we leave UEE space and make our own rules, live by our own standards and make UEC’s beyond our greatest expectations out there in the outer rim. First, we tried working resources in the uncontested worlds to then have UEE militia take from us what they wanted when they cam through and we couldn’t do a damn thing about it, so we the went to Xi’An space and were abruptly told to leave on pain of death soon after obtaining a massive haul of resources on very fertile mineral rich planets just in their region of space. At least they let us keep what we mined and traded before we unceremoniously got sent on our way.

With the riches we had as a small armada of transport mining, base building and escort a compliment we then headed towards Banu space knowing that they love to trade and make UEC’s every change they get! So, we travelled into their space and were warmly greeted upon our first contact with them. We travelled from star system to star system but could only find slim pickings compared to what we had planned for as part of our enterprise. After several years it became more and more apparent that we needed to move on to more fertile lands and opportunities finally.

One day we came across a lone Banu ship in the Garon System while refueling and getting supplies who just happened to accidentally drop some supplies on the floor while waiting in line as the shop like we were. Our leader Weaponized Zebra went to their aid immediately and helped pick up the supplies and continue to hold them for them. Then a conversation naturally began based on our wonderful and sometimes less than sanitary encounters with the Banu people over the years. They then said they know of a secret hidden place that we can live in relative peace and safety as there are minable planets, gas giants for your own fueling operations and also another settlement on a desert planet nearby who you can trade with. The planet is int eh Elysium solar system and it’s called Jalan. Youm can live your lives in relative peace and prosperity without the need to really travel anywhere for what you need and from what I can see you’re already equipped for life on Jalan already.

The Banu then headed for the counter with Zebra, paid for their supplies and headed off into the space station without another word spoken. Since then, we travelled to Yulun to trade and run cargo to our Banu friends on a regular basis with almost no concerns on a daily basis. We always return with goodies for the kids and our wives as well, one of the perks of being free from the UEE! Jalan is our home and a place we hope that you also want to join us in freedom form your oppressors as well. There’s more than enough free space to go around for all!

And that’s how we became Salvations New Hope. We no longer just survive we thrive here and are masters of our own destinies! Our families are happy and safe, our profits are exponential and we are finally safe for all that the rest of the universe can do to us, well for at least the past 200 years to date now. We welcome you stranger, for trade and or to join our safe haven here I the stars. You come with good will and we will welcome you with open arms.

We also have friends out here as well so if worst ever came to worst we’ve got friends looking out for us, not your usual types but are loyal to our cause and will be there at the drop of a hat.
