Here at Sanford and Son we emphasize exploration, salvage, and freelancing, but by no means are we limiting ourselves to these narrow roles in the ‘verse. Initially founded by Old Man Sanford in 2920 during the era of the “frustration of the masses”, SnS emerged as a backwater salvage and fringe exploration company. Fighting pirates, Vanduul, and the occasional rogue bounty hunter taught Sanford how to handle himself, but the years have been tough on him. Consequently, he decided to pass the mantle to we, his sons daughters, with the goal of maintaining his unique sense of profiteering with morality and compassion still in tow. As we find ourselves embroiled in an age of rising Vanduul raids, and the rise to power of potentially imperious political figures such as Kelos Costigan, the Sons of Sanford find themselves at a unique position ethically and morally. Do we look with dubiousness at the rise of power that this new fangled Imperator seeks to impose?
