the purpose of star claw is to bring citizens of the verse together in a neutral area to enjoy the game in a relaxed settings,

a core belief of star claw is that all players should have the right to play the game as they see fit, this includes everything from humble explorers out exploring the forests of Microtech to the pirate band that is patrolling the the jump gates looking for their next target.
while we accept people from almost every profession we will not tolerate griefing, the path between griefing, pirating, and even murder hoboing can be blurred at times so this is our stance on what constitutes griefing, griefing is going out of your way to try to ruin another players day for no reason other than to ruin their day, this can include purposefully targeting another player and hunting them down and repeatedly killing/harassing them, purposefully firing into hangars of ships that were landed as soon as the hangar doors open, pad ramming, and other such events that serve no other purpose than to ruin another’s day. griefing is not, setting up a snare and killing players that fall into it, this would fall under piracy or being a murderer depending on if you are attempting to loot your victims, it is also not blockading an entire station and locking it down this also would be piracy or being a murderer depending on the situation.
while as an org piracy and murder are not endorsed by the org it is understood that members have the rights to engage in these activities while not representing the org

the rules of space claw are simple

(1) no attacking other members of the org unless it has been discussed between involved paries
(2) keep racist, sexist, and other discriminatory remarks to yourself, breaking this rule will result in immediate dismissal. (a) while some comments that would normally break these rules could be allowed if made in jest it is important to know not everyone finds these kinds of jokes acceptable, it is your responsibility to manage what you say and around who you say it.
(3) no committing acts of piracy/murder while representing the org, if you with to engage in these actions it is fine however these actions are not to be done while representing the org (eg. getting together with other org members and blockading seraphim station is acceptable however saying “Star Claw United is now in control of seraphim station” and proceding to kill anyone at the station is not allowed/ (a) an exception to this rule would be a pvp event, taking over an area such as brios and announcing “brios is now under control of Star Claw United all players wishing to use brios will either need to pay a tithe or take it from us” is acceptable as it gives non combatants a chance to leave the area as well as provides informed consent that the area is going to become an active pvp zone, (4) no criticizing other members playstyles without concept.
