United Empire of Earth1 – Messer Era (2546-2792)
“At the dawn of the 27th century, the remaining Tevarin, driven to the outskirts of the galaxy, were organized under a new Tevarin Warlord named Corth’Thal who launched an attack against their old enemies. The Tevarin sole mission was to reclaim Elysium IV, their former home world. The settlements on Elysium IV rushed to take up arms in defense of their homes. Fring attempted to re-join but the same Malady that afflicted him as a child resurfaced, preventing him from doing his duty. On June 24, 2610 SET, Corath’Thal suffered a catastrophic defeat at the hands of Squadron 42 at the infamous Battle of Centauri. With his fleet rapidly falling to either destruction or surrender, Corath’Thal mustered his remaining loyal pilots to make a desperate charge for Elysium IV. Though they suffered an additional 70% casualty, his fleet finally reached the atmosphere of their old homeworld. The Second Tevarin War cemented Messer’s power.”
“For nearly two centuries, the UEE1 expanded into the universe, snatching up worlds and terraforming them at an unsettling rate. All the while, Messer’s power and title transferred down through his children, each seemingly more cruel and greedy than the last. It was a time of military oppression and fascism. The Imperator even used the threat of war with the Xi’an and Vanduul to subjugate the populace. Resistance was growing however. Representatives from Terra repeatedly tried to speak out against the Imperator and lobbied to secede, most disappeared shortly after.”
“It wasn’t until the infamous Massacre of Garron II2 that the resistance really sparked a public outcry. A small planet brimming with life, Garron II was sold to a terraforming outfit by Imperator Messer XIX. The atmospheric processing wiped out every living thing on the planet. When vid-footage of the atrocity hit the Spectrum, the public had finally had enough. Riots broke out. Underground Resistance movements attempted to fan the flames of revolution, finding unlikely allies in the Xi’an Empire who helped smuggle insurrectionists around UEE1 space.”

It’s new found power and influence would then be used to grow the Faith. Soon a New Self will rise up and take peace back from The United Empire of Earth. Until the day there is no more of the UEE’s1 monopolization of the Universe and across dimensions. Obfuscated behind the facades of the Big 4 corporations, Hurston Dynamics, Crusader Industries, ArcCorp and microTech. They will continue amalgamating and being absorbed inwards until the only corporation that remains standing is the United Empire of Earth…”

Dependence is a lie there is only The Self.
Through The Self we gain strength.
Through strength we gain power.
Through power we help others find The Self.
Through others our chains are broken. In freedom The Self will live in peace for all of time.
The Self will never belong to anyone for this is not the way.
Should tyrants threaten with heavy boot, fear and Death, then we shall stand as one Self.
The entire Galaxy and those around will see The True Selfish Rising; until The Self are free to live again in peace and harmony.

An Act for the Recognition and Protection of Selfish Rights and Fundamental Freedoms
Assented to 12th April 2792, The day after The Massacre of Garron II.
Affirming that beings and institutions remain free only when freedom is founded upon respect for moral and spiritual values; And being desirous of enshrining these principles and the human rights and fundamental freedoms derived from them, in a Bill of Rights which shall reflect the respect of United Empire of Earth for its constitutional authority and which shall ensure the protection of these rights and freedoms in the Universe:
Therefore Prophet Lady tynsfw, by and with the advice and consent of the followers of the Selfish Faith, enacts as follows:
1. It is hereby recognized and declared that in the universe there have existed and shall continue to exist without discrimination by reason of race, national, intergalactic, or inter-dimensional origin, colour, religion, faith or sex, the following Selfish rights and fundamental freedoms, namely,
(a) the right of the individual to life, liberty, security of the person and enjoyment of property, and the right not to be deprived thereof except by due process of law;
(b) the right of the Self to equality before the law and the protection of the law; © freedom of faith or religion;
(d) freedom of speech;
(e) freedom of assembly and association; and
(f) freedom of the press.
No law of the Universe shall be construed or applied so as to:
(a) authorize or effect the arbitrary detention, imprisonment or exile of any person;
(b) impose or authorize the imposition of cruel and unusual treatment or punishment;
© deprive a person who has been arrested or detained (i) of the right to be informed promptly of the reason for his arrest or detention, (ii) of the right to retain and instruct counsel without delay, or (iii) of the remedy by way of habeas corpus for the determination of the validity of their detention and for their release if the detention is not lawful;
(d) authorize a court, tribunal, commission, board or other authority to compel a person to give evidence if he is denied counsel, protection against self crimination or other constitutional safeguards;
(e) deprive a person of the right to a fair hearing in accordance with the principles of fundamental justice for the determination of their rights and obligations;
(f) deprive a person charged with a criminal offense of the right to be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law in a fair and public hearing by an independent and impartial tribunal, or of the right to reasonable bail without just cause; or
(g) deprive a person of the right to the assistance of an interpreter in any proceedings in which they are involved or in which they are a party or a witness, before a court, commission, board or other tribunal, if they do not understand or speak the language in which such proceedings are conducted.
In order to ascertain whether any of the provisions thereof are inconsistent with the purposes and provisions of this Charter than The Selfish shall report any such inconsistency to the United Empire of Earth at the first convenient opportunity.
The provisions of this Charter shall be known as the Selfish Bill of Rights.
