History Manifesto Charter

History

Terran Risk Control Services was founded to meet the growing demand for security in the private sector. Well armed and well equipped, members of TRCS began providing armed escorts for ship captains travelling through dangerous space that could afford the premium protection that the TRCS offered. Before long TRCS began doing contract work for corporations in new and emerging markets, providing path finding services and doing some small amounts of scouting.
But the cash really began to flow when they started taking on “Aggressive Takeover” contracts. TRCS will happily support a large Corporation in relieving a small business of its assets via military action and then requisitioning said assets for the client. These contracts are classified as ‘High Risk’ so as a result the price was bumped up to meet the risk/gain ratio. At some unspecified point in time the TRSC became associated with the Church of Light. Not a lot is known about the relationship between these organisations other than that people who look to deeply into it have a tendency to disappear.

At Terran Risk Control Services we strive to provide the client with the cutting edge in modern security services ranging from boots on the ground to cargo escort services.

TRCS Contract Policy
At TRCS we lay out our contract in a straight forward manner to insure that you , The Client , get the best possible service and fully understand what services you have , or may not have , purchased as part of the contract and while contracts will obviously be tailored to meet the clients needs all contracts will abide by the following rules

1) All Contracts are Paid in two parts. Half up front. Half upon completion. Ongoing contracts will pay a down deposit followed by a weekly payment for however long the contract should continue

2) All Costs will be presented to you. No hidden extras costs

3) TRSC Will always complete the contract to the contracted specifications

4) All contracts are liable to immediate termination should the client feel that they are no longer in need of TRSC support HOWEVER the payment specified in the contract must always be paid regardless of whether or not the contract has been terminated,

5) All TRSC Contracts are verified and checked by a trained Team Leader before final issueing

Charter

RULES FOR TRCS
1) Abusive/Bullying type behaviour is NOT TOLERATED.
2) We request that you’re available to perform contracts at least twice a week
3) While we will RP not all of our clients will. RP when it seems appropriate, and do so if the clients wishes to.
4) Our work is morally ambiguous, but we’re not pirates so piracy is prohibited. Exceptions to this will be listed in the contract policies below.
5) You will be granted a certain level of independence as a TRCS operator, However the rank system is to be respected and large scale operations mounted by TRCS will make strict use of the command structure
6) All promotion is on merit. Don’t beg for promotion,
7) We have TS so owning a microphone is a must.
8)We have a special relationship with a religious cult known as the Church of Light. Do not question it. Just accept it. Support them should they request it by offering them a contract at a reduced fee. A Section Leader should be immediately informed of the details for these contracts.
9) Contracts are to be completed. Failure won’t be tolerated

Contracts Bands – Pay should increase with increased risk
  • LOW RISK- Things like escort duties through relatively stable regions of space and similar types of jobs.
  • MEDIUM RISK- Same as above but for items of high value or through slightly more dangerous regions of space
  • HIGH RISK- Regions of extremely dangerous space need to be entered for the contract to be completed. Should the contract be guaranteed to bring the TRSC operators into conflict then it’s is immediately given High Risk status
  • AGGRESSIVE TAKEOVER- Action taken to separate another company from its assets allowing the client to take control of those assets
    *COTL SPECIAL CASE- Same as the above contracts except the Chruch of light will receive discounted prices. All Church of light Contracts should be cleared with the Senior officers
