The Galactic Defense Force / TGDF

Citizens that lost family and friends to the Vanduul came together to discuss other ways of protection against future attacks. Many group members thought a Private Military Company would be the best action toward their goal.

May 23rd, 2925
A group of Vanduul appeared on Qualtaz to ravage everything the planet had to offer. Little did many know but Qualtaz was a Private research Synthworld Subgroup base dedicated to enhance ways of terraforming planets. With the Vanduuls at large, the Phyon Engine was at risk. The Phyon Engine in the wrong hands could terraform an entire solar system with the power of the sun.

The GDF received a call from James R Makston brother of Telmor T Johnson in the GDF and informed them of the heavy presence of Vanduul. James friends and family feared of the many pains that laid in front of them. Telmor rallied the GDF and set off for Qualtaz in hopes that the people and the Phyon engine were still intact. During travel the GDF informed the UEE of the current threat. The UEE demanded that the device be captured by any means necessary and ignore the Citizens. The GDF began their assault against the Vanduul knowing the risks of the future lay in their hands. As time passed the GDF won.

Many lives were lost that day. But one thing is to be remembered; the GDF had a Zek Bomb given to them by the UEE to destroy the planet instead of fighting to secure the citizens futures. Countless lives were saved that day because of the heroic act of the GDF. This is why many Citizens rejoice at the sight of the GDF. Knowing they are being protected and secured by the bravery of the few who willingly risk their lives to secure the safety of the Innocent.

July 18th, 2926
The GDF was awarded as to be an Offical Defense Branch of the the UEE Military. Privately funded, the GDF had no problems pursuing more Ships at their command.

Today,
The Galactic Defense Force has been a true ally to the UEE for over the past 50 years growing in power and size. With support of the UEE and its citizens, the GDF have become the trusted source to any Pirate, Vanduul or criminal issue. Citizens rejoice in the hope the GDF have restored.
