A long time ago,

I began playing the Battlefield series. That was my main focus while gaming. For a short time I played Freelancer and really enjoyed it, but something was missing. It was the FPS freedom that I enjoyed in Battlefield. I so wanted to be able to walk into my ship as a person, strap in and take off. I wanted the realism of Star Trek and the adventure of Star Wars. In Battlefield, you have a lot of freedom to do what you want and I yearned for that in a space game. At last my dream can be realized. To maneuver through attackers with my precious cargo only to have my engines go out. To hop out of my seat and run to repair the damage. The excitement! The rush! The risk of death and the reward of riches! Will we make it? Will we survive? How long can the shields hold? Find out!
