History

Established in 2862 *U.M.I began its journey to conquering the challenges of mining and extracting the universes precious materials. Founded by Edward Alexander Lopez III, U.M.I has spent almost a century overcoming the many obstacles and risks that interstellar mining delivers. What started out as a small family business, has slowly grown into the closely knit crew it is today. though not large in size, U.M.I is widely recognized and highly regarded in over 1000 systems throughout the verse.

Manifesto

U.M.I’s values are simple,
  • Explore
  • Locate
  • Salvage
  • And mine every last bit of that precious resource

All operatives will receive the highest grade of training available in the verse, so don’t worry if your new to mining. U.M.I is a great place to start.

SECURITY is important to us here, after all we do deliver some of the most precious commodities. U.M.I employs some the best security forces the verse has to offer, and are recruiting more all the time. That’s how we keep our customers in over 1000 systems happy every day.

EXPLORATION is at the centre of our business. Without our dedicated fleet of exploration vessels, we here at U.M.I would not have access to some of the finest and rarest materials we so proudly distribute. That’s why we hold our explorers at the corner stone of our organisation.

DISTRIBUTION requires long hours and perfect punctuality, as we deliver to a large number of systems and species throughout the verse. Making sure that we get there on time, every time.

SALVAGE is one of our more recent ventures. Since trouble with the Vaduul has escalated in recent years, ship salvage has become a big part of our business.

Finally we here at U.M.I has a strict no piracy policy, so if that’s your thing, we’re not the org for you.

Charter

RULES that members must adhere to;

  • Just have fun!!! Don’t worry about the “paying 10% royalties” rubbish.
  • Share info if your any explorer, and you’ve found some resources. tell your mining and transporting brothers and sisters and take a share of the profits. I Guarantee you’ll make more money than just selling info.
  • no piracy policy
  • Members are free to be members of other orgs, provided they have no ties to piracy.
