(USG) United Spacefaring Guild [VUSG] - Organizations

History

The United Spacefaring Guild (USG) was established on April 5th, 2951. It was built upon the ideology that an organization should be local and self-reliant. To keep operating costs low and profits high, the USG maintains a fleet with a wide variety of capabilities. Originally starting out as an independent mining and trading operation, the USG focuses on growing into a self-sufficient organization. Due to financial (game mechanic) restrictions, the USG has been focusing on mining raw ore, contracting out to local refineries for processing, and then transporting the finished products to local markets.

The USG also maintains a heavily armed para-military division to help secure and protect its assets. While the primary goal of the USG’s security forces are to protect USG assets, they are also contracted out to preform armed escorts, search and rescue, and other recovery operations for the UEE Government and other civilian organizations.

In an attempt to undermine the credibility and success of this up and coming organization, many allegations have been brought up against the USG’s security operations and their involvement in legally and morally questionable activities. While the UEE Advocacy has conducted multiple investigations, there is currently no verifiable evidence to confirm these empty claims.

United Spacefaring Guild Ranking Structure

Executive **
-Executives oversee all operations and ensure that the USG maintains a healthy and efficient environment for all members. Like Officers, Executives are chosen for their leadership qualities, sound judgement, general knowledge, and expertise in their chosen professions. All large-scale operations must be approved by an Executive.

Officer
-Officers oversee the day to day operations of the USG. Officers act as a first line supervisor and are authorized to represent the USG in less-sensitive matters. Officers are chosen for their leadership qualities, sound judgement, general knowledge, and expertise in their chosen professions. All large-scale operations must be directly overseen by an Officer or Executive.

Captain ***
-Captains are placed in charge of larger USG mutli-crewed vessels. Captains are usually tasked with individual operations that require additional crew members to complete. Captains are given a great deal of freedom and discretion when it comes to their individual operations. When no Officer is present, a Captain has complete authority over their operation and crewmembers.

Member
-Members are the backbone of the USG. No operation can be successful without our majority Members. Our Members are granted the freedom to operate on their own accord, so long as they represent the USG in a professional manor and strive to further the USG’s financial goals. While it may seem low on the totem pole, our Members are without a doubt the most valuable assets of the USG. During larger operations, our Members are usually compensated very well for their time.

Recruit
-Recruits are the newest members of the USG who aim to be apart of something bigger than themselves. During larger operations, Recruits are compensated at the lowest share variable. After a brief training period, recruits will prove themselves to be a valuable asset to the USG and promoted to a full-time Member.

Volunteer ****
-Volunteers are affiliates from other organizations that assist with USG’s joint operations.

*All actual complaints will be handled from a serious non gamer/lore point of view. We strive to make the Star Citizen community a fun and safe gaming environment where everyone can enjoy themselves. ALL major issues SHALL be handled by the USG’s Founder/Overseer Swat-VPR.

**Executives will have the final say in most matters. If there are any further issues, they may be brought up directly to the USG’s Founder/Overseer Swat-VPR.

**Additionally, USG members that have verified pledges for a capital class ship are automatically given the rank of Captain, once completing the Recruit phase.
