To join the Wreck Raiders, please complete the steps in the following order:
Please note that failure to complete the Member Form will automatically result in rejection of the application.
Q: What is the moral compass of the Wreck Raiders?
A: We definitively operate in the “grey area”. Although we will maintain the appearance of being legit to the UEE, we will not hesitate to protect our assets and interest (i.e. discoveries) in lawless space. But we will not get involved in piracy or slave trading.
Q: As pioneer, do I HAVE to share the information regarding my discovery?
A: No, as the Finders Keepers rule implies, you have the first right of refusal on your finding. For example, if you find a jump point and succeed in charting it, you will keep 100% of the reward. Alternatively, if you are unable to chart it, you can share the information to the member of Wreck Raiders and still get 10% of the revenue. The same apply to any other discovery.
Q: If I successfully chart a jump point to a new system, why should I not file with UEE immediately?
A: You could report your finding immediately to the UEE, but by sharing the information with the Wreck Raiders you will get a greater return. Any finding made in the system (e.g. asteroid field), while shared exclusively, will grant you 5% of all the generated revenue. This is on top of the 10% you can get for any additional findings you make in the new system. After exhausting the profit potential by the Wreck Raiders, the jump point information can be sold to the UEE, or the highest bidder.
Q: Why assign a time for join operations?
A: Having a preset time slot for joined operation facilitate the coordination of collaborative gameplays and meetings. We understand that the available time slots might not be conductive to everyone but we value a strong brotherhood over world coverage. Alternatively, you could work toward starting your own chapter with its distinct joint operation hours.
Q: What is the expected level of commitment?
A: The expected level of commitments is subject to the membership type or role within the organization. Our prerogative is that real-life comes first and a game should not become a burden. Hang-around (Affiliate) are not bound by any level commitment. Prospect (Main) members can be casual (i.e. at least once a week), while management roles and patch members are expected to be regulars (i.e. at least 3 days a week). Note that those commitment levels apply to the join operations hours only; you are free to come at often or little as you wants.
Q: How can I start my own chapter?
A: Chapters are assigned to distinct start system with its own hours of operations. Creating a new chapter requires the approval of the board of directors. The normal path would be to become a patch members within an existing chapter and recruit a few other patch members to join you before seeking approval from the board of directors. But before the PU go live, you can contact us if you are a small group of mature gamers that wish to have a chapter under the Wreck Raiders.

Each chapter will hold a monthly meeting. Every member of the chapter must make a best effort to attend the monthly meeting. When unable to attend, the member will send notification ahead of time to the Management. Path members unable to attend will also submit votes via proxy (i.e. another patch member) on announced motions.
Individual’s operations occur around the clock, but the chapter’s official joint operations and gatherings occurs at a predetermined time of the day.
Finder can claim any finding for themselves or share the information within the Organization from which they will collect a 10% fee on any revenue from finding and 5% of revenue from findings in a discovered system, so long at the information remains exclusive to the Organization.
Information shared amongst the Organization can be exploited by the main members, but must pay the finder’s fee to the finder. In no circumstance shall the information be shared outside of the Organization; such action will result in a trial from the local chapter.
During operations involving multiple ships, the revenue sharing must be weighted based on the class of ships involved and participation time. Revenue sharing amongst the crew of a Multi-crew ship is at the ship’s owner discretion.
Main members can call members to arms to protect the Organization’s interests and assets. Any spoils of war will be divided amongst the Call to Arms participants.
Main members of the Organization can affiliate with sanctioned organizations which are social in nature and don’t conflict with the Organization’s interests. The following is a list of sanction organizations:
Any changes to this charter requires unanimous vote from the board of directors.
